Bank Link Test
This form is used to test the link between CardGate.net's Payment Gateway and the Bank.
Press the "Test Now" button to initiate the live test.
- If all is okay, you should get a Bank response of "No card record (Declined 056)". This indicates that the Payment Gateway is alive, it is connected to the Bank and the Bank's EFTPOS system is up.
- If a Bank response of "Host Unvailable (Declined 091)" is returned, this indicates that the Payment Gateway is alive, it is connected to the Bank but the Bank's EFTPOS system is down for some reason.
- If Payment Gateway responses "Reversal Pending" or "Busy!" are returned, then the "virtual terminal" is locked up due to non-response. Either there is a comms failure between the Payment Gateway and the Bank's network, or there is some issue with the Bank's EFTPOS system.
- If you get "Connection refused" or "Connection timeout" responses, then a TCP/IP socket connection cannot be made between the CardGate.net host and our Payment Gateway.
